Movies With a nice life on Urban Areas?

Posted on March 23rd, 2010 by admin in other urban places | 2 Comments »

Im really an urban city person. So I was wondering if there is any movies out there that show life in urban cities (other than crime and murder or any of that things )
Examples would be : The Pursuit Of Happiness , Kidz, etc.
More on everyday life enviorment..

Preferences would maybe include activities or so that take place during the day.

For Chicago, "Wicker Park" is a great one to show off the city in the winter, and "Stranger than Fiction" shows it in the warmer weather. For New York, "Alfie" shows off the city in the winter, and "Hitch" shows off the city in the summer and even gives date examples.

What stores do 13 year olds usually shop at…?

Posted on March 19th, 2010 by admin in other urban places | 11 Comments »

I shop at Aero, AE, Garage,Urban Planet and other places.
What shops do normal 13 year olds shop at?
And where should I buy my clothes, how should I do my hair, how should I do my makeup, and how should my personality be to become popular?
Thanks! :)
Lavia, happy belated b-day!
How do u know I live in canada?

I’m 14 and my favorite store is Zumiez. I also shop at Wet Seal, [sometimes] Hollister, and Forever 21.
For make up i would suggest just keep it natural and not too goddy/flashy; simple thin eye liner on top and bottom of eyes, mascara, a good eye shadow color that fits you (i use a kind that’s in a way liquid but still solid and glimery) blush–but ONLY on cheek bones, a liquid foundation after that for all around the face. and your make up should be good :D
for hair if you have it up, be sure to make it loose; I’ve found if it’s too tight it’s really not flattering. if you have bangs, a nice choppy (not over kill) slanted style is my favorite and pretty much every girl has it.
Also to make your hair fuller and more vibrant I use Aussie 3 minute deep cleanse and mousse to put more volume to it. And also adding accents like headbands or fun clips puts a good style to it.
being popular isn’t too important, people are lucky to just have friends :D but if you want to be more noticed, try out for sports, be more talkative and be sure to do nice small things for people like opening the door for them, complimenting them, etc..

What is a good FPS for "urban combat" airsoft playing with just a couple friends?

Posted on March 15th, 2010 by admin in other urban places | 9 Comments »

Me and a couple friends are looking to buy airsoft rifles and I want to know what a good FPS is. Most of the places we play at will be urban and a couple of woodland. We arent trying to make a team or none of that stuff we just want to play aroudn but we still want guns that will be accurate enough to hit each other.

How much FPS will be enough?

Most places you play at will have a field limit of 350FPS in close quarters combat (CQB) areas, and in open areas 450FPS.
I personally keep my gun around 350 and I never have a problem with either. Now if you want to leave bloody bruise look for a gun shooting about 450FPS. But anything between 300 and 450FPS hitting you is enough for the person to feel the slight sting and know they got hit.

Now keep in mind that most airsoft stock guns will only go about 40 to 50 yards with accuracy. But since you guys are just playing for fun and nothing serious I’d stick around the 300 – 360FPS range. Those guns tend to be the best price for newer players who aren’t serious and just want to fool around, BUT had a good gun to fool around with.

In terms of BB weight, don’t let this concern you. You’re just in it for fun, so get some cheap BBs and go to town.
.12g BBs travel faster w/ less accuracy
.20g BBs travel slower but have more accuracy
I wouldn’t recommend anything heavier than .20g BBs

Does macy’s sell urban decay products?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin in other urban places | 6 Comments »

if not Macy’s, can you think of any other place besides sephora, urban decay.com and ulta to get there products? like in a mall? the reason why im asking is because i don’t have time to run out to ulta today, i can only go to the mall so i was wondering if there is any other place that sells urban decay.
clarissa- i hope your right and i hope it’s not just online. i guess i’ll just have to go to macys and see what they have.
strictly business- then why did you answer my question?

Yes, they do sell Urban Decay product.
