College dorm room bedding?

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by admin in great urban places | 3 Comments »

I am attending Johnson & Wales next year as a freshman and i am not sure where to get my comforter set from.
I want something really cute and different. I generally shop at Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, H&M etc and i am a fashion major so I want something really cute.
If you know of any great places or ideas let me know pleaseee!

Find something cute, but don’t spend to much. Expensive stuff has a way of vanishing in a dorm.

I get a lot of my bedding at http://www.domestications.com. They have a bed in a bag that includes sheets, comforters and shams very reasonably — under $80-90, sometimes as low as $50. Some may be too conservative for you, but they do have bright things and stripes, etc at times. I saw Brylane (home take off on Lane Bryant) and they had some neat things at reasonable prices. Rooms to go have some interesting and bright things as well, and some ideas of paint. You may want to get a set or two of curtains just in case you need them. You can also at times get Matellaise blankets or covers on HSN or QVC or even quilts that are nice. Those are a good look as well.

    Good luck to you.
