Do guys who live in the South and Midwest use hair gel?

I live in New Jersey…I was told that in the NY/NJ area and other urban areas around the country are the only places where so many guys use hair gel. They said you can instantly point out people from New Jersey, is this so?

Do they sell 2% milk in New Jersey, because us in the Midwest drink it and you can point us out… Yes, people use gel everywhere!?!

    I must have a lot of men from NJ and NY coming into my salon buying all my hair gel then. The commute to OK must be killer.

    No.. People sterotype way to much, I live in Kansas city Missouri, there are a ton of people who use gel and dress with style, i barely see any "hicks" unless i drive into southern kansas lol.
