You are lucky enough to be able to appreciate the good qualities of BOTH suburban life and city life, and that is a blessing because you are adaptable. You might one day have to move back to the city for a job - and unlike someone who could only love the suburbs, you would be able to focus on the positive things about the city and enjoy living there.
And if you ended up living in a suburb for years, well that wouldn't really be a problem either because there's so many things you like about living there.

What you are is called 'versatile'. You can find the positive in any situation. That is a very, very special skill to have, because it will make your life happy.
People who are too rigidly stuck to black and white thinking (it's got to be either good or bad, all or nothing, this or that) tend to end up unhappy because life just doesn't work that way.

Sounds to me like you have it good for now. You like the suburbs and you also like living close to the city so that you can go out on the town if the mood strikes. You'd also one day like to try living in the country, or maybe another country entirely..

Why limit yourself to one area when there's so much to like about all these different places.
