How in the world do these urban legends start in the first place.?

My friends keep forwarding me stuff labeled as "scam" and please beware. No matter how many times I tell them it is an urban legend, and that they need to check things out before forwarding stuff on to a massive amount of people –things that aren’t even true, they get scammed again no soon after. Is almost as if they wished these things were true. What to do.

some people will believe just about anything. check out

The biggest and worse "urban legend" is religion!

"religion is Spiritual fraud" – Jesus Christ
"religion is the Worse invention of humanity" – Jesus Christ

Create a private, personal, direct, divine relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator’s Love and Peace will we be Truely Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

Give them the website http://www.truthorfiction.com. I used to be like that but my mom forwarded that site to me which will let you know if the email you got is a scam and why. Good luck!

I start them, I’ve time on my hands and it keeps me amused. I like my "kidney missing bath tub filled with ice" routine the best, it remains a classic to this very day. I tell You I should get paid for this crap but it’s too much fun to think about the money! Take care.

I would be willing to bet that 99% of all ULs start in women’s beauty salons.

Some people will believe anything they hear, especially if they see it written or on Television. When a friend sends it to them they think that friend endorses it and want to believe that friend.

Some urban legends are actually based on true stories that get blown out of proportion, like that retarded story about a $256 cookie recipe. Supposedly that was based on a $20 recipe and the true story happened back in the 70′s.
