I think you do need to work on your interpersonal skills. It sounds like you value your uniqueness but, teaching your children good interpersonal skill and social skill is the most important thing you can do for them. You are probably divorced because or your lack of personal skills. Your children learn their social skills through you and your relationships. Instead of over indulging them with material items , spend time with them, teach them how to be a good person, manners, how to make friends, how to confront others with out offending them. good luck on meeting that pina colada lady!
