Maybe TMI: Does climaxing after sex help when TTC?

Ive read in a few places that its recommended for the man to ejaculate first and then the woman should be brought to climax to help when trying to conceive because the uterus "sucks up" the ejaculate as it dips down when it contracts. I was wondering, is this even true? Id like some medical opinions too-any docs or nurses out there as well?

For me at least it feels like when we do this it pushes the stuff out more than sucks it in. Would that be the case? Im not sure on the mechanics of this method or if it is an urban myth but we have been trying it (why not!). I just worry that its having the opposite effect.
Also, am I possibly preventing pregnancy by doing so? We are trying to do everything to maximize our TTC methods so Id hate to be doing something that hinders progress

In highschool Biology, we saw a video about this. And, it literally SHOWED the cervix (pretty sure- not the uterus) dipping into the ejaculate. (The exact term used in this biology video was "dipping".)

I am not a dr or nurse but I heard that it does help to climax. I could be wrong though.

    Not necessiarily.
The only thing it MIGHT help with is the production of more fluids which will make it easier for the sperm to make their way.
It does not really increase your chances.

Not sure on that theory, however it’s really not necessary whether it’s true or not. If you are ovulating and have eggwhite quality cervical fluid the sperm will naturally ‘swim’ upstream all of their own accord.
