I have never eaten peanuts in this way for that reason. Its not just that though I watched an Oprah Winfrey show where she had sent people out to do tests on all sorts of things, pocket change , childrens play area, cash in department store tills, cinema seats. The results of this certainly made me think twice about eating anywhere other than home again without washing my hands !! It was pretty awful and as that was some years ago it still sticks in my mind today.
