I suggest going to the Puget Sound and looking over at the bridges. They are much more beatuful on a hot summer day. I also suggest going to Mt. Rainier. Soo many pics of awesome things can be taken there. I do recomend taking pics of the mountain in the winter because it is a lot prettier with all the snow on it.
References :
I live in Tacoma. I see Mt. Rainier all the time and its awesome.

Ravenna Park. It's like a little stretch of forest in the city, great for nature.
References :
If you want to do a bit of traveling, head over to the Olympic Mountains on the other side of the Hood Canal bridge. Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend- they all have beautiful scenery.

Close to Tacoma/ Seattle, I'd suggest Gasworks Park. You can get some really neat pictures of the backside of downtown Seattle there. Or hop a ferry to Bremerton or Bainbridge Island. Both have good opportunities for nature and urban pictures.
